Layn Natural Ingredients, a supplier of clean-label, polyphenol-rich functional botanical extracts, will showcase its latest U.S.-made botanical ingredients at IFT First.
The company will be launching SteviUp M2, a new Reb M stevia extract which uses natural ingredients and specialized extraction processes to provide a cleaner taste and less lingering sweetness. The GRAS-certified sweetener offers superior solubility to provide more flexibility in beverage and food applications. In its booth, Layn will demonstrate the solubility of SteviUp versus other Reb M extracts.
Layn will also host discussions on Galacan, a precision fermentation-derived heteropolysaccharide differentiated from conventional beta-glucan ingredients. Its spiral, conelike structure maximizes its ability to interact with receptor sites on immune cells, enhancing bioavailability and efficacy, according to the company. Additionally, the ingredient is highly water-soluble, making it versatile for a range of applications. The company will hold discussions on the ingredient on Monday, July 14 and Tuesday, July 15 at 3 pm.
The company will also host a happy hour event on July 15 from 3-5 pm. at its booth.
Throughout the event, Layn will also distribute functional drink prototypes, such as a gut health-supporting beverage with Galacan, and a tea with U.S.-grown American Ginseng to support energy.
